Since August 2016, the PopUp-X-perience is a registered trademark: PopUp-X-Perience®

New Educational Resources for Energy and Resource Efficiency
ISPT wants to explore new opportunities of Digital Learning Technologies. During the international workshop at the NPS14 congress the attendees explored needs, opportunities and challenges offered by recent
trends in education as well as in industrial practice. The aim is to
establish a shared vision supported by an inspired EU-wide community of
practioners from academia, industry and e Learning providers that want to
initiate one or more international consortia for innovation of education. The vision is addressing the topics of Energy and Resource Efficient Technologies and
Processes, Biobased Economy and Technology; and Waste a Resource to Recycle,
Reuse and Recover. To give everyone the opportunity to take a look at what was discussed at the workshop we present here the following videos of the workshop:.
1. A general impression of the workshop
2. The introduction by the Chair of the workshop, Prof. dr. Rietje van Dam - Mieras
3. Prof. dr. Rob Mudde (Delft University of Technology) : sharing the experiences of TUD with e-Learning tools
4. Onno de Vreede (VNCI) about the needs of the industry concerning innovation of education
5. Jan Willem Huisman (IJsfontein): the opportunities of eLearning

General ImpressionRecent developments in e-Learning (e.g MOOC’s and flipping-the-classroom concepts) create tremendous opportunities for innovation of education. New tools are developed that are used from elementary school up to university and Life Long Learning. It is against the background of these recent trends that we organized an international workshop to share the latest experiences with new educational tools, reflect on the trends from academic and from industrial perspective, and identify opportunities.

Brainstorm poster pitchesAfter the inspiring talks of the speakers the audience was divided into groups and started a plenary brainstorm session to think about their answers to the following questions:
-In which way can new education tools play a role in helping your organisation with a certain issue? -If you would develop a new idea for a project together, what would it be about? Each group did a feedback pitch about the poster they made to give an overview of the ideas and answers they came up with. |

SWOT Analysis Plenary Brainstorm Session
To explore the thoughts of each group concerning opportunities, limitations and possible users; they were asked to answer the following questions:
-What opportunities do you see for new eLearning tools?
-What will never be possible with innovative eLearning tools?
-For who are eLearning tools the most valuable? And why?
In order to give an overview of the answers on these questions we conducted a SWOT analysis to point out the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of eLearning tools that were identified by the groups.
